Brittney played school, club and recreational Volleyball for 10 years, was an assistant coach with SASVC for 3 years, and a head coach for last 5 years. She has been a part of some great teams and has won numerous Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in her time playing club and school volleyball. Brittney was privileged with being selected as Metro Athlete of the week in October 2019 and was honoured with being named her high schools 2019 athlete of the year. In the words of her high school coach “Brittney works hard in every aspect of her life, committing to being the best she can be in school, athletics, and the community. She dives head first into whatever she is involved in and is always willing to help those around her.” Brittney recently received her Kinesiology degree from University of Alberta and she is waiting on her evaluation for her NCCP Level 1 development certification. Brittney has also completed University Volleyball coaching courses as part of her Kinesiology program and is excited to continue to share her knowledge with the young athletes. She is going to continue to play the sport she loves recreationally while she pursues her other passion for coaching. Brittney is extremely excited to be coaching with our U14 women Cohort group and is looking forward to the upcoming season.
